Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ScrollFix iPhone app (the “App”) and the website at www.scrollfixapp.com (the “Website”). ScrollFix is developed and operated by Shayaan Jagtap (“ScrollFix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or the Website.

Your license to the App is governed by the ScrollFix End User License Agreement (“EULA”). Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Both are part of these Terms.

1. The App

ScrollFix provides focused access to Instagram and YouTube. The App opens those services’ websites in an in-app browser on your iPhone and, on your device, hides or limits selected parts of their pages, such as Reels, Shorts, advertisements, and suggested posts. You choose which filters are active. The App can also use Apple’s Screen Time framework, with your permission, to shield apps you select on your device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScrollFix. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use ScrollFix only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You must also meet the age and eligibility requirements of Instagram and YouTube to use those services.

3. Subscription

Use of the App requires an active ScrollFix subscription. Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are purchased through the Apple App Store using your Apple Account. The following plans are offered:

The price, billing period, and any free trial or introductory offer are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase, in your local currency. Eligible new subscribers may receive a free trial (currently two weeks for the Yearly plan and one week for the Monthly plan). Eligible new subscribers may also be offered a discounted first year of the Yearly plan, charged at purchase. After any trial or introductory period, the subscription renews at the regular price. Trial and introductory-offer eligibility is determined by Apple and is limited to one per subscription group.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Purchases can be restored in the App under Restore purchase.

Apple processes all payments and refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies and applicable law. We do not receive or store your payment details.

4. Third-party services

Instagram and YouTube are operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Google LLC, respectively. Those companies control their accounts, content, features, availability, and data practices, and your use of them through ScrollFix remains subject to their terms and policies. You sign in to those services on their own pages; ScrollFix does not receive your passwords. ScrollFix is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Meta, Instagram, Google, or YouTube. All third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

5. Filtering and availability

Instagram and YouTube change their websites frequently. As a result, a filter may occasionally be incomplete, and some features may be temporarily unavailable while we restore compatibility. We may add, change, or remove filters or supported services to keep the App working as described.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use ScrollFix only for personal, non-commercial, lawful purposes. You will not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law; interfere with or disrupt the App or the services it displays; or use the App to violate any law or the rights of others.

7. Intellectual property

The App, the Website, the ScrollFix name and logo, and all original content are owned by Shayaan Jagtap or ScrollFix’s licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license granted in the EULA, no rights are granted to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App and the Website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every change made by a third-party service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScrollFix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or the Website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using ScrollFix at any time by deleting the App and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 7 through 12 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the laws of your country of residence require otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page and update the date above. Material changes will take effect no sooner than the date they are posted. Your continued use of ScrollFix after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
