How ScrollFix works
Use Instagram and YouTube inside a focused iPhone app, with filters for the feeds you want to leave behind.
ScrollFix opens Instagram and YouTube in an in-app browser and changes how their pages appear on your device. Use those services inside ScrollFix to get its feed filters. Installing ScrollFix does not remove tabs from the original Instagram or YouTube apps.
Choose the experience you want
You may want to reply to friends without opening Reels, or search for a particular video without entering the Shorts feed. Filters let you choose supported parts of each service to hide. These choices are different from blocking an entire app for a period of time.
| Service | Filtering choices | Useful features retained |
|---|---|---|
| Reels, Explore, suggested posts, ads, and optional Stories filtering | Messages, profiles, posting, and friends’ posts | |
| YouTube | Shorts, recommendations, autoplay, ads, and optional comments filtering | Search, subscriptions, playlists, and chosen videos |

Start with one service
- Install ScrollFix from the App Store on a compatible iPhone.
- Review the subscription offer and any trial eligibility before confirming a purchase.
- Open Instagram or YouTube inside ScrollFix. If you want account features, sign in on the service’s own page.
- Choose your filters, then check the features you use most often.
- Return through ScrollFix when you want that filtered experience.
Your accounts stay with their services
You do not create a ScrollFix account. Instagram and YouTube receive activity directly from your device under their own policies. WebKit stores their sign-in data on your iPhone. Subscription management involves Apple and RevenueCat. Read the full privacy explanation for the distinction between local settings, third-party services, and subscriptions.
Compatibility and limitations
The current App Store listing requires iOS 18.0 or later and is designed for iPhone. Check the listing for current requirements before downloading. Features may differ from the original apps, and changes to Instagram or YouTube can affect a filter. ScrollFix is not affiliated with Meta or Google.
Filtering is a choice about the interface you use; it is not a guarantee that you cannot reach short-form content through another app, a direct link, or another device. The comparison of filtered browsers and app blockers explains these boundaries.
Subscription and trial
ScrollFix requires an active subscription. The US listing checked on October 21, 2026 shows $1.99 monthly or $19.99 yearly, with a one-week monthly-plan trial or two-week yearly-plan trial for eligible new subscribers. Prices and availability can vary by country. The offer shown before purchase is the one to review.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Find cancellation and billing help before starting if you are unsure how a trial works.
